Hostile Attribution Bias in Children

Aggressive children possess maladaptive schemata that bias their perception of benign social stimuli. Basically, aggressive children see aggression where there is actually none, they have a "Hostile Attribution Bias" (HAB). Therefore, my colleagues and I made the hypothesis that aggressive children should be particularly sensitive to subtile aggression cues. Three studies showed that, surprisingly, aggressive children were less sensitive towards ambiguously angry faces than less aggressive children.
